This is the first of 3 live shots from this year's Download rock festival at the famous Castle Donington site in Leicestershire, during the headline set of American band System of a Down.
It's tricky getting a good live shot because the lights on the stage and screens are very different to the ambient light in the air so trying to find a balance is quite fun. It turned a little grey and cloudy and not as bright and summery as it could have been so it's a little flat in the sky.
A good view though, and good to not be working during the headline sets and be able to go and take photos out front.
3 good things:
1 - Great weather for most of the day despite the horrid forecasts
2 - Great fun covering some of the bands during the day - it's not often I get to film live music
3 - Lovely quick phone call with Alexis towards the end of the day
