Female Kestral on the line

I went out with my camera this morning to Bedfords Priory Park. With the light being so low, my expectations were not to high but I did get a few decent captures of the Herron, Squirrels and even a Kingfisher. This is probably not the best of the day for quality but I have chosen it because I have had to wait so long for a shot of a Kestrel. All in all, what started as just a wander with the camera turned out to be an excellent session and left me feeling well chuffed.

She's a beauty. How good of her to pose so nicely for you, it's a good feeling to finally get a shot of something that you've wanted for a while.

@hazydaze I could talk for days on the things I'd like to capture but she really has made my day. So many times I have thought I had one only to find out, I had made the wrong ID

@rosiekind Thank you. I was watching three kingfishers flitting about to the left of the sewage works bridge but they were to far off for a good shot but so happy with the Kestral.
