I have been having a lot of trouble with my lens camera combo recently so after spending all yesterday afternoon and evening cleaning and resetting the shooting menu, I took it out this morning for a fields test at Priory Park. It performed beautifully and to cap it all I saw three Otters. Two were on the Fingers lake but passed literally by my toes as I sat by the waters edge and dived as soon as I moved the camera. I thought I'd missed my chance but on the way back to my car, I walked along the river and this one appeared again under my feet. This one however didn't dive straight away and sat looking at me for a good 20 seconds, even allowing me to shift position to shoot between the branches for a better shot.
Marvelous Steve! He does not seem put off by you presence., well, after all, they are curious. I LOVE Otters, and your captivating photo put a lift in a very difficult day; thank you, Les
