You cant break a promise to a grandchild.
My grandson asked me to go and watch him play in his new sport of football so regardless of the torrential rain and the still not great health, I wrapped up warm this morning and used my ingenuity to waterproof my gear. ( I wrapped it in clingfilm),then ventured out to take some photos of him playing in a 5 a side match on his home pitch which is local to me.
I have never done a shoot of a football match before and I have never taken the camera out in such awful conditions but I have to say, I am quite pleased with the results and the other parents can have a free disk with lots of pictures of their kids too.
My grandson is the one in the glasses and as a bonus, they won 2 1.
