Dutch farmers are protesting for weeks now against the nitrogen policy of the government. They should reduce their nitrogen emission. Sometimes even with intimidation and violence. To express their anger, they've hung the Dutch flag upside down, which is a total lack of respect for the meaning of our national flag (red at the top, white in the middle and blue at the bottom). I wonder where this will end!
The photo is excellent to support the information. These issues, changes in habits, so often conflicting, could be minimized with good communication, knowledge sharing, use of “consultative selling” and assertive communication techniques. Resistance to changing habits is not reduced by force. And, of course, changing the flags is not a healthy path either.
