I was born in Brighton (well, Hove actually - and some uk people will get that comment !!) and I spent many, many days by the sea. I now live about 1/2 hour in land but every so often I have to get my 'fix' of the sea. I have always found it so soothing - no matter what kind of day I have had, I just look out to sea and everything drifts away
