Found: Unicorn!

Hey, it looks like a Unicorn, right? This is a real photo that I took during the Safari Park visit (yeah, I'm still milking that trip). It's one of the big horn sheep, housed in the area right next to the condor that I posted yesterday. And as was the case yesterday I threw in an alternate background from a shot taken last summer at Glacier National Park. A little extra processing, and bingo, a unicorn out in the wild country.
yep...i see a unicorn...lol...good processing

Lovely colour, detail and processing, yet again I did not realise it was not straight out the camera, seamless processing very well done Ron:)

OOOOOk! I.m reading...Safari Park...Big-horn sheep...and I'm wondering what sort of processing you could possibly have used to get yours to look SO MUCH BETTER than mine!!! Never believe your lying eyes... I think you've put your skills to better use than I have, sitting here the last few days! OH! I DO actually have some cute flamingos I gussied up yesterday... Comin' atcha!

Nice closeup!

@maree_sanderson Thanks Maree. It came out better than I expected better. I did have to add a little texture to finish it off, but sometimes you have to do that to salvage the shot!

@dianen I used Photoshop to swap out backgrounds Diane, and then used Topaz adjust to give the combined image a little pop and texture. Thanks for chiming in. :-)

@pcoulson Thanks Peter, I'm learning more and more about Photoshop every day! Maybe I shouldn't have revealed my secret. ;-)

@photographycrazy Thanks Bill, apparently you are not a believer. ;-)
January 23rd, 2016
@aglennc Oh no you don't. ;-) The background is a crummy old cyclone fence and a bland brown wall. If I can remember, though, I'll throw the original up in one of the other albums.

@aglennc I don't leave for the UAE for a couple of weeks yet. In fact they just pushed the schedule back a week a couple days ago. Somewhere around Feb 19 or so. I think you'll have much more interesting pictures on a trip to South America than I will to a stiflingly hot desert! Have fun on your trip. It's going to be spectacular!

@cjphoto Another non-believer! Ha ha, thanks, Chris.

@Weezilou Actually fairly basic edits, Louise. Hey, you're supposed to be the teacher here!

@redy4et Thanks Elizabeth - closeup courtesy of the massive 600 mm lens. ;-)

Прекрасный сафари-парк! Как же там здорово!

feel much better after reading that you swapped the background.. For a moment I felt like "where was I when this happened in Safari park??"
a unicorn indeed, just a couple of rainbows missing :)

Oh my gosh what an awesome job at editing! Ok, maybe he's a sheep unicorn. All the unicorns I've seen are white and look like horses. I suppose there are different species of unicorns.

@simta Спасибо Татьяна. Нам очень повезло иметь этот большой объект поблизости. Я вернусь скоро взять больше фотографий.
January 25th, 2016
@damfino LOL!! I wish I had thought of putting a rainbow in this picture!
January 25th, 2016
@joysfocus I think its a formerly unknown species. We may have been the first to discover this particular genus.
