Beautiful soft tones, composition and depth of field Ron, could I tempt you into turning an image into a work of art and tagging it ETSOOI-66 entry closes midnight your time on Friday:)
@pcoulson Thanks so much Peter - and I did tag it for the ETSOOI challenge. You've really gotten deeply involved in that - very pleased. And thanks for the A7 RII info. The adapter is one of the things that attracts me w/r/t that camera. Unfortunately, unlike the Canon lenses, the autofocus is pretty much rendered useless for Nikon lenses. I'm still on the fence at the moment, but won't be making any decisions as I have many weeks of travel currently underway.
Wow Ron... "Scrumptious" colors and delicacy come to mind! Like you and everyon e I talk to, we're in awe of the burst of blooms this year! What's THAT about?! I love it of course... I keep dead-heading hoping to encourage them to keep at it!
What a beautifully moody image you've created! At first, it occurred to me that the obvious would be to crop and use only the right side in a vertical shape and vignette it. But that would have been a Hallmark card thing to do. I like how the left Bloom is at the perfect stage for photography and adds the surprise to the composition.
@onewing Thanks Babs, I like to keep 'em guessing. One day it's toilets, one day it's vicious steers, one day it's soft pick flowers. I have no discernible qualities!
Looking once more, since you tagged me, what keep pulling me in is that teal-gray twilight...it's an amazing color and boy does it set of the pink roses beautifully!
