Simply stunning capture, wonderful perspective and colourful sky really standing out against those outstanding Black Friday silhouettes and it was done without queuing and free of charge, Fav, welcome back Ron pleased to see you posting again, look forward to seeing more of your lovely images:)
. . . and a fav for posting again. So this must mean you must be back home for a least a short time.
Make sure if you are riding/driving up to Washington in the next 4 months that you pay them a visit.
@pcoulson Thanks Peter, and it feels good to be back. I agree that doing this without queuing and for free was a more appealing activity. I saw yesterday that 75% of people in the U.S. would spend time shopping on Black Friday. Guess I'm in the minority - and I'm sure that most of our fellow photographers would be too.
@terryliv If that's all it takes to get a fav, maybe I'll only post once a month too! Yep, I'm off the travel routine for a few months. I just might be able to get up to see Rowan and Sally and the kids later. I'm "working" a job that will take me to the Richland area - way on the other side of Washington where the landscape is decidedly less beautiful. I should be heading up there in March - is that too late before they run off to Chicago?
@stray_shooter Your absolutely correct Ron I would sooner go out with my camera and photograph the people queuing, In the UK most bargains were snapped up via internet shopping they said on the TV news, UK shoppers have used Black Friday to kick off the start of the Christmas consumer rush - that's estimated staggering £4.9 billion will be spent over the course of this week:)
@aglennc Hi Anita. Yes, it's been too long since we all got together. With the snow coming down I'm guessing the pseudo Canadians will be returning to warm sunny So Cal soon.
@lyndemc Glad to have you back commenting again. I think I'd rather have a root canal than go to those stores. One good thing about having no family is not having to venture out to those places this time of year!
