We've had something like three centuries of drought in California, but the past month has featured more rain than we've had in those three centuries combined......or so it seems. Of course today was another wet one, so it was out to the back yard for photos of wet flowers. We never used to have such opportunities.
And with that I'm all caught up.....until the next time I fall behind. I'll catch up on comments tomorrow.
@pamknowler@joannakate@gilbertwood@salza@photographycrazy@swwoman@pcoulson@Weezilou@jorlam@simta@cjphoto Thanks all very much for the nice comments. For those who asked, signs are good that the California drought may finally be subsiding. The rain continues and one of the state's largest reservoirs is actually overflowing. Houses are sliding down hillsides and cars and trucks are getting swept away, so we have to conclude that things are looking up. @terryliv Yes, Poppo, three centuries and I am feeling every single one of them!
OMG Ron...You've made me laugh out loud (and I don't mean haha LOL!) again and again today! A gal in Montreal wrote the other day and asked if we were affected by the bad California weather. Not being a new junkie (anymore) I wasn't sure what area she was talking about, but here I've just gotten the news and the tragedy of it is hysterical (the way you put it!) I'll steal that paragraph above, but I'll be sure to give you credit!
