This photo of a West African Black Crowned Crane was captured at Wild Animal Park. It's a black crowned crane because the body is black, but, oh that golden crown. They have a beautiful glint when the sun reflects off of them.
another pretty bird with gangly legs.. loving the detail held in the plumage.. and yes, that golden crown is something else and shown off to perfection here....
