First off, huge apologies for the one week absence. I took on some rare work, something I do every now and then to remind myself of how enjoyable retirement is. That rare work has me crazy busy, with virtually no free time, so regrettably, postings, comments and responses have been zilch. And will be so for the next week too, so I'll be a minimalist at best and resigned to posting from the archives, the first of which is this shot from our recent Southern California gathering at Wild Animal Park and the Butterfly Jungle (warning - more of these to come). I will express my sincere gratitude for your views and comments in advance as I attempt to at least post and catch up.
Stunning capture packed full of brilliant colour and wonderful detail, just keep taking the money when you can and plan to spend it wisely on your equipment !!! ( bikes or photography) of course:)
Lovely. What on earth would ever tempt you to even think about venturing back to work (I shudder just saying the word) even if it is only for a couple of weeks. Are you nuts?
On a lighter note, you may like to follow a fellow Los Angelesian (I just made that word up) @mbrutus Admittedly he is from the other side of LA to you but at least he can offer you some more erudite comments than my "Nice shot Ron" standard comment. Actually, I can just see you two together. :-)
