Day 10 was spent riding from Biloxi, Mississippi to a nameless small town in Florida, during which no photos were taken. Therefore I'm reverting back to one of the photos taken in Austin. This is taken from the South Congress Street Bridge, spanning the Colorado Rive, where hundreds of people gather nightly to watch approximately 1.5 million bats venture out from beneath the bridge within the span of 20 minutes or so. I took a photo of the bats departing from beneath the bridge looking up last year. I don't think I'd want to be among the folks who chose to view from their kayaks, but I am grateful for the color and variety that they provided (before, that is). As well as the nearly full moon that happened to rise at just the right time. Now, if only the construction had been completed on that building.....
