The clouds really have drawn in today, on the island of Koh Yao Noi midway between Krabi and Phuket. This is the view from our bungalow across the water. It's still shorts and t shirt warm but the lack of sun today and the rain has given everything a rather gloomy feel. Really nice island though, the friendliest people and hardly any other tourists compared to where we have been over the past few days around Krabi. An interesting contrast.
This is the colour version - my goodness. it does look a touch gloomy but at least it is still warm! Here we are having hailstones, gale force winds, freezing cold and flooding expected on the east coast from the highest tide surge in something like 60 years!!
