A fast M3 at the local Autocross
How does the D7000 do with fast moving subjects? I always struggled at autocross with my D80, so that's why I got a D200 as a backup for motorsports. D7000 still does interest me, and in my wildest dreams I'd dump the D80 for one, but only if it could do it's work as a backup sports body. From the looks of the photo it did well! (And I love M3s, yum!)

@hmgphotos - The D7000 did really well. There was one place where the cars when behind trees then came back out, and that threw off the focusing, but I wasn't in any kind of tracking mode, just single point continuous AF. I was shooting with a Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G VR which I'm sure really helped with the fast focusing. It wouldn't have done nearly as well with a 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR.

I'd say this D7000 focuses every bit as good as my D200 if not better. (although I haven't done any side by side comparisons and I haven't shot with the D200 in a while)
