I was challenged to shoot a portrait of my wife or daughtor for my get-pushed challenge. It should have been easy since I used to shoot portraits of them all the time, but it seemed to be a busy week. And when I finally got a backdrop up and lights set up, Elizabeth didn't want to cooperate. She wanted to run around, try to push my lights over, and do anything other than sit still.

This was so much easier before she learned how to walk.

@june
aww...they are definitely interested in EVERYTHING once they are mobile and going! :) She is darling!
I'm going to tag @northy here so that she sees it :)

You produced a great portrait.
her lovely mischieviousness shines through . wonderful catchlights to sparkle in her eyes.
classic shot. I hope you and your wife are pleased with the results. ..you should be. If you are , then it was worth the push.

Ps apparently purtting my email in the main description doesn#t bring it to my ayyention. for next week's partner , add teh email address in the comments box ..

@june - Thanks. It was fun to pull out the lights and backdrop and do a big setup, even if I only got about 2 1/2 minutes of shooting before she was completely finished. I'll have to pull out the lights more often.

Hi josh, thanks for my challenge, apologies for a slow reply, I'm away on holiday with intermittent wifi :) how about a cookbook style food photography shot for your get pushed this week?

Maybe you should have used your wife, I'm sure she wouldn't have pushed the lights over!
