I tried out this camera with a bunch of different lenses to see if it's worth getting a 45MP camera for my next one. The camera out resolves a lot of my lenses, but some were surprisingly sharp. Not this one.
I started my photo-a-day project on September 6th, 2004 on livejournal, transferred it here around 2011. All photos were taken on the day they're posted...
@lindasees - Thank you. I'm not too worried about the extra storage. External drives are cheap. It would take a little extra processing power to edit each photo, the Z7 shoots a few fewer frames per second than the Z6, and the Z6 is $1K cheaper. And I have made a 24" x 36" print with just 10MP, and you can't see any pixelation. Right now I'm leaning towards the Z6, mainly because it does better at high ISOs.
