wow! i walked down to the st. james park and was it hot or what! i rued that i wore my blazer and halfway down i was already sweating.
the flowers have bloomed and the tulips are in gear. methinks by monday the tulip buds would appear. but what caught my fancy was this little feather amongst the new shoots. someone's feather got ruffled, eh? it is so white against the dirt and so bright in the blazing sun.
Isn't that just gorgeous laying there like that!! What a beauty . .lovely photo. Beautiful clarity and great contrast in textures. Definitely as pretty as any flower!
