oh, no! not another one! (self-portrait)

why is the self-portrait always a feature of these long challenges?

i read in the discussion page sometime ago that any part of your body, as photographed, is considered a self shot or 'selfie'. i could bet, and in fact i've seen some myself, that others have photographed more than their thumbnails, some quite nicely.

so just to demonstrate how small this unidentified flower is, i shot it right next to my unmanicured thumb's nail. sometimes i like it when someone else or something else is smaller than myself.

@roth - i really have no idea. i was looking around for a tag and there was none. after i dropped my canon last saturday, it has started to take good macros and crappy landscapes. haha! i'm on the prowl for a new camera. how's your canon? you happy with it? i'm leaning towards that sony mirrorless.
