imagine that a long time ago, our ancestors drank water directly from the brook or stream. but what if they had to go on a long trip and there's no river or trill they can stop at to drink water? good thing at some point cup was invented to put water in. and some genius invented glass. then they drank water out of the glass. then another genius later on got bored with just water and put carbon dioxide on water and they rejoiced because the water was fizzy! and they dropped something and... the rest is history? nah!
this is just a glass out of the set that the office gave to us on the occasion of its 125th year a few years ago. and last Christmas someone gave me a basket of goodies with a jar of maraschino cherries.
