if you're finding it hard to find me a present, believe you me, i won't ever mind chocolate. easy to find them, too! groceries, drug stores, supermarkets, corner stores. and i won't even fault you for buying it on sale, because that's the best way to buy chocolate, or anything for that matter.
these are called ferrero rocher. i had posted one in march. this time, i don't have a taste for it because it's late in the evening and the little milk in it would counter with my medication. they are creamy chocolate in the centre with a whole (at least it used to be a whole) hazelnut, enclosed in a thin chocolate wafer then dipped in milk chocolate and rolled in coarsely chopped hazelnut pieces then dipped again in chocolate. normally, they'd be gone before the photo op is over; i'm so proud of meself for this extraordinary restraint i'm in.

Yum yum- but my favorites are the milk chocolate with caramel center, or mousse. However, I will never turn down chocolate of any kind. Sorry to have been off viewing your shots. Two big writing projects and the aftermath of Sandy really botched my schedule recently.
