festive carrot cake

it's food and drink thursday.

i love carrot cake, especially when it has a rich yet light frosting with just a tad taste of cream cheese, like this carrot cake that partner bought for our dessert tonight. he thought it was worthwhile photographing so he waited patiently while i set up my camera to take this photo.

drank a tall mug of boiled ginger with this and it was heaven!

Ok, now you have done it. I have tried to always take care of you and support you, but that is my favorite cake and it looks so moist, I just licked the screen a dozen times.
