it has been quite a hectic few weeks at the office and there's no sign of it dissipating, in fact it could even get busier. the girls at our reception and catering are a very nice bunch of people and i love them to bits. i don't do much for them but i get them a box of my favourite chocolates during the holidays. it's the most i can do for them.
our reception always have a nice arrangement of flowers that is replenished weekly. this tulip is part of this week's arrangement. i've been meaning to photograph it but didn't get any chance until today when i said enough is enough i'm taking a break. so i went up to reception with my camera. the girls were fuzzy about getting photographed but they did like this shot.
this tulip's colour is so vivid and quite pleasing to the eye that the few minutes i spent up at reception really made me relax a bit more. let's just say instead of smelling the roses, i went up and shot the tulips.

This is so gorgeous! We both posted flowers today...and neither one of us really shoots flowers all that much. I will always now call it "Shooting the Tulips" when I go on my relaxation walk with my camera.
