the colour peach can be described as light yellowish-orange and sometimes with a hint of pink. and it is a colour that is a bitch to photograph. i have a number of peach-y items, the colours of which did not translate into peach on the screen. so, i looked around and sally-anne was sitting amongst the books on the shelf. i knew i was keeping this thing for something other than pushing needles into it when i'm pissed with someone. :-)
well, sally-anne actually is my niece samantha's doll that she deposited on my bookshelf so many years ago and never came back for it. she's 24 now and every time she comes around i'd tell her "take your doll" and she would just snort and snicker at me. although she used to love sally-anne when she was still a little girl. why, she wouldn't even think of us having afternoon tea without her! maybe i'll bring sally-anne to london on the weekend for little ivy jean.
