partner and i went to the pond this morning. the swan family was out and about, showing off their offsprings. sadly, there were only three cygnets now; last sunday there were five little ones.
here the pair wobbled right up to partner and he did what he saw me do last tuesday night: he talked to them, to the amusement of the other people around so they started to gather behind him to watch.
@maggiemae - i think so. i see the red-winged black birds dive bombing the swans all the time. the swans would just be minding their own business and the black birds would relentlessly bug them. i also saw a man came out of the bushes with his two dogs. there are a lot of inconsiderate people among us, you know. thank you, maggiemae.
