i was taking water crown shots earlier this afternoon when i was getting desperate for a photo for my get pushed challenge. i almost forgot how to set the camera up for this but it came back to me after a few failed attempts.
maybe one day i shall try the milk and strawberry shot but i really don't like playing with food i can't eat afterwards as i feel it would be a mindless waste. maybe i shall do a motion shot of chocolate thrown in the air and i catch it with my mouth. yeah, good luck with that, summerfield.
I think that's a brilliant challenge with the chocolate - you would have to take lots of pictures to get it right! These are like jewels, these pictures of the crown!
Hi, again. Many thanks for my challenge - not sure which to choose - but this sets the standard for me if I choose option 1.
I've just been looking at your photos - what an amazing collection of fantastic photos. Please continue with the lightning of there's a storm - but I don't think I saw any high key portraits. So, Option 2 - a high key portrait - doesn't have to be a face.
@olivetreeann - so glad you liked it. i was getting frustrated as i couldn't sync the camera with the water drops. partner thought i was insane! thank you, ann.
@maggiemae - thank you, maggiemae. one day, when i'm in an insane mood, i just might do it. :-)
@678tabby - been wanting to do that for quite a while, but i feel guilty playing with food. the strawberry, partner can eat but we both do not drink milk. thank you, june.
@jocasta - :-) thank you. did i mention i am so afraid of lightning? :-) had a cousin who died for being struck by it.
@claireuk - tee-hee! there will be a lot of chocolates to be devoured! thank you, my friend claire.
@salza - i'm lactose intolerant and get reaction when i eat strawberry so it would be wasting food if i do that. but i will find something else to do maybe. thank you, sally.
@atooner - thank you, amy. no, no chocolate would ever be harmed!
@shutterbug17 - thank you, jennifer. it's a good feeling when you get even a water orb in the air with your reflection on it.
@catsmeowb - thank you, camille. i did the colours using "tint" in ribbet otherwise they would just be plain boring water crowns. tonight i might do smoke. might.

Great crowns, those things are hard. Love the different colours.
