still down under by summerfield

still down under

the eucalyptus plant is a diverse genus of flowering trees and shrubs under the myrtle family. the one shown here is a favourite accent in many floral arrangements, hardy and attractive for its scent. the leaves of its tree cousins, native to this southern hemisphere country, is the natural source of food of some "cuddly" marsupials. also, eucalyptus oil has a history of wide application, as a pharmaceutical, antiseptic, repellent, flavouring, fragrance and industrial uses.

can you name the country?

not feeling quite well tonight, so i will catch up with you tomorrow hopefully. thank you for your kind visits and comments; they are much appreciated.
Easy for me - Country is Australia and the 'cuddly ' marsupial is a Koala. nice shot, hope you feel better soon.
