i cannot close this challenge without paying tribute to this beautiful country who gave me and my other compatriots and other nations' peoples a better chance at life. it is not a perfect country, but it is a perfect place for me.
yesterday, on our evening walk, partner and i found this beautiful perfectly red maple leaf on the sidewalk. he picked it up and gave it to me. i had save from last year a few very red leaves and they're in between the pages of my huge dictionary and i planned to use them for this shot. but when we found this leaf, i knew i just had to use it for my final post for the month.
isn't it incredible that we travelled to so many countries, learned some new things about some of those countries, without ever leaving the comfort of our own homes. thank you, alia @alia_801 for masterminding this challenge. at times i thought i was going to give up but every day something would always gel in my mind for a post.
thank you for your visits and comments; know that i truly appreciate them.
Outstanding composition, I especially love the leafs natural curl waving come on over to Canada the land that all are welcome with the leafs open arms of embrace. You have done well my friend and very thoughtful. FAV
