partner's got his brand new van and he picked me up from work then we treated ourselves to a nice dinner at the marina. on our way there, we passed by the distillery district where they have a Christmas carnival, the old fashioned style.
like this old-fashioned horse ride with its incredible lighting and intricate workmanship on the horses. there was a small ferris wheel right beside it. there were stalls selling Christmas crafts and food, just like in the olden days. on stage was a couple of old goofs singing and playing. in the centre of the square was a giant Christmas tree all lit up and people were having their photos taken with their iPhones and blackberry.
methinks i shall go back there and shoot the buildings at night.

Seems like it would be a bit brisk for a Merry-go-round or Ferris Wheel ride at this time of year! But maybe a cup of hot chocolate afterwards would reverse the wind-blown effect. (o:
