my get pushed partner this week deyvid's @d_lopes challenge was to "take a shadow selfie". it is quite an interesting challenge. i've been pressed for time the last couple of weeks, and i so welcome the weekend. i don't have any plans other than go around and take a photograph and maybe i'll find the mojo i lost a long time ago.
coming home from the subway, the sun hung in the sky with a golden glow and i noticed my shadow on the pavement. as i neared my building, passing by this planter with a young maple tree, it looked like i am standing underneath the tree. of course i wasn't. it's just perspective, and i thought was a perfect photo for deyvid's challenge. that area above my head is the building's driveway and partner's parking spot.
thank you for your kind views and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
Ahoy! I am your get pushed partner this week! I am actively about and photographing, just haven't had a chance to upload lately! Your challenge this week is to get close up on an everyday object to the point where it would be difficult to pick what it is - it doesn't have to be literally a close up/macro, I just want to see you take something mundane, everyday object and make it beautiful and interesting :) enjoy!
