nature's jewels by summerfield

nature's jewels

finally, my peonies produced some flowers, two actually, but the heavy rain from sunday until this morning soaked the flowers so much the stems drooped down. i had to tie them up on bamboo stakes that were leftover from my crafting days. but of course before i did that, i took some photos for posterity. there are still a few buds but they seem to be shrivelling or drying up. any tips what i can do to make them healthy? it's just so nice to look out the window and see the flowers at eye level. i love how the water beads look like tiny gemstones.

@bill_fe posted some photos of the moi from our drive last month when i hitched a ride to go visit my brother in illinois. might you want to check them if you are so inclined:

The droplets are so clear, fabulous focus. I have no idea what you can do but there are quite a few websites dealing with growing and caring for peonies.
