of photography (if you can call it discipline, indeed) - street photography and self portrait.
these days it is not difficult to catch both in one frame. all i needed to do was step outside of my office building. i was only a few feet away from these two (no, they're not together) and not a care that i was shooting them. the man at some point actually looked at me with a quizzical look (like duh, doing what you're doing, buddy!). but the girl didn't care that she was alone or that people were looking at her funny as she took selfies after selfies - smling, pouting, grinning, feigned laughing, facing here, facing there, and trying to capture the CN tower, too, whilst she could.
for the street challenge.
also for the artist challenge. sue ford, the featured artist/photographer, was also a pioneer (we could say) of the selfie genre.
It is a fun shot. I've never tried a selfie stick, not sure why shooting with one, just the thought since I never really have, just makes me feel ridiculous and self conscious, yet I use the time function and jump into a picture without hesitation.
That's funny- it reminds me of our last visit to Niagara Falls and all the people pictures I took of people taking pictures. Never posted any of them though! great street shot!
