doesn't look so great in black and white so colour it is. it's just coincidence, but i like how the man's action mimics the man pictured in the poster. i surely didn't see that when i took the photo. i was thinking more like the yellow shirt contrasted the colours of the posters.
i was at the allan gardens at noon today and was pleasantly surprised that the gardens have grown so lush. i think i was there last at the end of may. the young man who oversees the gardens recognized my face but could not remember my name only that my name is the same as one of the famous queens. he started with 'elizabeth' then 'margaret' then 'mary'. he was quite embarrassed that he couldn't remember. i told him to review his history.
outside the gardens, there was a first nation event and some of the people tried to convince me to partake of the free food, which was a-plenty, mind. some of the men even asked me to take their photographs. i also met a lady named cindy who has MS (she was on a mobility device) and she had a fuji bridge camera. she said she hasn't touched her camera in months. i told her about 365 project and asked her to visit the site and maybe join. i hope she does.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated.
Perfect timing! I hope he gets your name correct next time- at least he tried to remember it rather than just carrying on the conversation without using a name at all.
Queen Victoria!
