impermanence by summerfield

impermanence

the heat from the heavens cools down in time
the days grow short and the light scarce
the leaves that once danced in the wind
now dance on the ground under your feet
because nothing lasts forever
even a heart could change
even a love could die
even a love could fade.

"impermanence". it's synonymous to temporary, transient, transitory, passing, fleeting, momentary. and what could be more impermanent than the changing of seasons, the changing of colours in the fall when beauty surrounds and abounds, but they don't last. nothing is ever consistent, only the passing of the sun from the east to the west.

for my get pushed challenge this week, anne @365anne wanted me to capture impermanence. i scratched my head all week what to do for this push when the answer was just about everywhere.
@365anne - hope this satisfies your challenge. thank you.
