for that's what i did today. with a mug of hot tea on one hand, a bottle of water and a glass on the other, i opened the heavy wooden door. it wouldn't open to the width that would accommodate my big butt. but then a group of young people, talking and bantering, they pushed the door. it hit my hand, crooked at the wrist, with such force the pain was excruciating. i really didn't think anymore of it after the initial pain, until i noticed a few minutes later that my wrist was swollen and a tad bit painful. so cold compress is my companion for the next 24 hours after which the hot compress will take over.
and that brings me to week 39 of my 52 portraits of me project, to portray "pain". i've been stumped how to portray pain but during our sojourn to the zoo last saturday, the northster suggested the idea. thank you, my good friend @northy
just filling in so i don't get behind on this challenge. please, no need to comment, but if you do, my heartfelt thanks.
