it was our firm Christmas party tonight. i was hoping i could get some long exposure shots downtown before i went home but my feet were so sore they refused to even walk to the bathroom! :-)
when i got home, i had wanted to go back downstairs and take a long exposure shot of highway 401, but i was beat. but isn't it nice to have a 'go to' shot at times like this, and since i am paying so much a month to have this view. this is not so bad, isn't it?
for day 4 of the one-week-only challenge; today we do long exposure. i'd have wanted to go somewhere where there's a fountain and lots of people but i was told the fountain at city hall has been closed as it was to be prepared for the winter season and will soon disguised itself as a public skating rink.
and i think that this is one of the reasons to this challenge. to do the prompt as best we can given our time constraints and the resources available. some of us are indeed excellent in each of the required shots, but even then we could still struggle in the presence of other elements that come into play, like a Christmas party. :-P
so i'm thinking i better give you a different panoramic scene for sunday's prompt.
thank you for your time to visit and comment; it is much appreciated.
