icicle and blue sky by summerfield

icicle and blue sky

for this week of peter forsgard's 52 assignments, the prompt is blue.

i had been waiting for a clear blue sky and every time it happened this week, i was either busy or not looking. well this afternoon, it cleared for some time and i was looking. saw this icicle hanging from the edge of the balcony above mine. it was glistening in the afternoon sun, but i couldn't quite capture the starburst i was seeing. but no matter, i'm happy with its formation, with those ridges around it. normally it would just be one long smooth spike shaped icicle. this definitely caught my eye and i was glad i was looking.

because we are doing flash of red, i was all prepared to make one of my postings in blue tint and i'm glad i don't have to do that now. the only thing is this would be relegated to this album instead of the main album. but no matter, i've fulfilled the assignment and i'm happy with my post.
Great capture of what could be a lethal weapon.
