jeff walker @jsw0109 came up with a challenge whereby you photograph "something most people would not consider to be beautiful and find a way to capture it that IS beautiful." the challenge is called "eye of the beholder challenge".
just the challenge for this. i have taken a photo of these electric metres outside a townhouse near the subway station before but never posted it here. i just like the way they are lined up, like sentries in a monument. this morning we have a snow storm and i thought these would really look nice with snow on them. so i braved the elements and took some quick snaps. i like this angle, it complements yesterday's shot of the subway station.
played around in picnic to brighten the brick's colour.
Fab for that challenge! Love the patterns and the line this creates! And you, it looks awesome as thumbnails on your overview next to the subway shot with the diagonal leading off in the opposite direction :-)
