i hope i don't offend my lady friends with this shot, but i thought this is quite funny. whilst browsing through the edward weston gallery on the internet, i suddenly remembered that a friend gave me this 'model' thinking i could use it one of these days for my hobby. she bought a set of bathing suit at costco and this plastic came with her purchase. she had put it in her recycling but quickly retrieved it when she thought i could use it. i happily accepted it thinking one of these days, an artist challenge would come up with nude subjects.
it is transparent plastic set against a black background. cropped, then i used "fireside" effect in ribbet to get this colour. it's a very stiff subject and totally uncooperative so couldn't get any more artistic than this. i thought i'd add in a butterfly "tattoo"!
very creative
