well, the back is still bad and it's really a bother. i remember what partner's mother told me when she was still alive, when she would get frustrated because she forgot something or had difficulty manoeuvering her walker: "being old sucks!" her exact words.
i can't sit for a long time, nor can't stand for any longer than a minute. but because it doesn't hurt to walk, walk i did during lunchtime. i felt better. but tonight i had to do night shots and the wind is on the colder side so couldn't linger outside for a long time. seems like the cold knew where to creep up on my body, where else but the back!
on our way back from grocery shopping, we passed by this beautiful mural. i took a few shots but this was the only shot with cars passing by. even though the mural caught here is only a third of the actual size, this would have to be it as standing in the cold exacerbated my back pain. note that i removed the filter off my lens and i still got starbursts. probably from the long exposure?
thank you for your kind views and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
nice light trails! so sorry about your back... that does suck :( hope it's better for the urban exploration on saturday... any idea what you're going to shoot?
@northy - thanks, kiddo. i was hoping i could get some direction from you about this urban ex thingie. btw, does this corner look familiar to you? i think you go there for your sons' hockey.
