the morning started with a steady downpour. we went to our favourite breakfast place down at the beacher cafe but at mid-morning and on father's day, there was a long line up for tables. we went to the pond, and the swan family was nowhere to be found, plus i really wasn't so keen on getting my camera wet. drove down to the other breakfast place and got disappointed that the service was not at its usual best, including screwing up our usual orders.
then partner decided that we go to the mount pleasant cemetery. we passed by a big park and whilst down on my knees taking a photo of a mushroom, i heard a strange noise, moved my camera up and this is what i captured: a moose!
the mad-minute-word for today was "stultify" meaning 'cause to lose enthusiasm and initiative, esp. as a result of a tedious or restrictive routine; cause (someone) to appear foolish or absurd.'
i'm guessing at this point you're wondering what happened to the moose or to me after I've seen the moose face to face. or maybe you've realized that i'm probably just pulling your leg(s) because you know that i would just stultify myself in the end if i don't tell you sooner. so here's a full shot of the moose: http://one-photograph-a-day.blogspot.ca/
You stultified me there for a moment! haha I just posted a MMW for Mon/Wed...did I get everything in there. I usually forget to tell people the dates or how to tag...nothing important..haha! But I think I got it this time. Now that I have posted it...oh my! I am not sure how to produce a shot for it! Uh oh! I will have to be thinking...
@espyetta - methinks you's got it, ma'am! thank you for saving me arse! i didn't know that i had to choose somebody from the entrants to the mmw-gravigrade. and there i was waiting to see what the word was going to be. hehehehe!
