a pirate life's for him

this is one of the 'pirates' of the ship named "liana's ransom", a vessel typically used by privateers and pirates throughout the 1700′s and early 1800′s; the ship’s design was influenced by the schooners typical of the gulf of mexico; shallow draft and broad beam, and currently rigged as a two masted, gaff rigged, square top sail schooner, 85 feet in length with a steel hull built in houston, texas. the ship was part of the tall ships festivities last weekend here in toronto.

he was working on some rope, unmindful of the visitors touring the ship, some purposely sitting beside him or wrapping their arms around him. sometimes he would smile but he never lifted his gaze from the ropes.
Wrapping their arms around him?? Well, I would too if he didn't take notice like he seems to! His ring suits his pirates character! Neat photo!
