partner got me some mini-cupcakes for me 60th burday and thought i'd have some fun with them before i eat all of them away!
this is quite fun but laborious to do. first you take a pic of the mini-cupcakes with a stand in. see my stand in here: http://one-photograph-a-day.blogspot.ca/ then you take your photo and you have to make sure the camera has the same angle, lighting, blah-blah! will experiment with this again in the future.

Well, my plans have changed- again! Today I went out to start up the car and the battery has died. We made the decision tonight that I shall go directly home (I will not pass go, and this latest glitch will feel like I've lost 200 dollars!) rather than head out to Batavia for a visit. The car needs a good check up from our Subaru guy and the last thing we want is for me to get stranded with our granddaughter along for the ride. So, once again I must put our get together on hold. But it is not out altogether. When the car is road trip worthy again and the house is all back together I'll be heading out there for a visit and once again will let you know I'm on my way!
@olivetreeann - oh, crap! was so looking forward to meeting up with you. well, the new plan makes sense though. i wouldn't want you stranded in the middle of a strange place either. yes, we can plan again. have a safe trip back home and hope the car cooperates this time. thank you, my friend!
I didn't follow you at this time. Actually not a member of 365 then. Cool capture and I liked knowig how you shot this. Did the stand in give you some perspective as to the size or position of you in this photo?
Whew! I admire your restraint. I wouldn’t have been able to concentrate on photography with little cakes sitting there calling my name. Neat to see your explanation of how you put it together. To quote someone I know—“Aces!” 🤣
