get pushed #52 - black and white portrait

my get pushed partner last week, @mrsbaldy challenged me to do a black and white portrait. should've done this last week but i was seriously busy at the office.

another lunchtime photo shoot for me for this push. my sophie la rue managed to have a longer lunch so i could shoot her for this challenge. 35 shots and i got three really good ones. i like this one a lot, her smile is natural - this girl is always smiling.

i am starting to get more aware of lighting. lighting in portraits is the bane of my existence. at one point i had to use the flash to eliminate the shadows caused by the overhead sun. not this one, though.

fingers crossed, i hope i pass this one.
