window dressing

this is the display window of an old restaurant i pass by everyday on the danforth. first time there's nobody just behind the window. last week when i tried to shoot this, the old man waved me off with an angry look in his face. i stuck my tongue at him, the old bugger. like what was he afraid of? for my camera to explode? :-) so this morning he or his buddy wasn't there. but gheez, look at all the reflection i got, and now i know why. my polarizer is not on my lens. horrors!

this shot was grotesquely distorted and seemed to lean backwards. so i played with it in camera - perspectives control. i like it.
Cute host of characters.

I like the window and the reflection together. I'm not sure whether I'm glad the grumpy guy was missing, or if I wish you'd got him in the shot so we could all see him grumping! :)

Well it is a cute scene, you'd expect it to be photographed

Lovely festive scene. Some people are just so miserable! Glad you got the photo :)

It's sort of a fun shot with that reflection. It looks like the "toys" are lined up to go shopping! Be careful with Mr. Grumpy though- sounds like he'd run out of the shop after you if he thought you took his picture.
