@olivetreeann - believe it or not, typhoons have traditionally skipped this island province. and there have been no earthquakes here. but haiyan's scope was so huge for the first time the province, especially coron, was affected. it's so beautiful in here, i almost didn't want to leave. thank you, ann.
@sianipops - sadly, the there are tourists who do not heed the warnings. i told our guide that what he should do when there are people who do not obey the rules and warnings, that he should say "i will not proceed with the tour if one of you does not behave properly or ignore the warnings." they can complain to his employer but that he should explain to the boss that the water, the lakes, the corals are the province's bread and butter and that he is doing his part to help preserve it. the koreans, apparently, are the worst in disregarding warnings like touching the corals or throwing garbage in the water. thank you, nia.
