blue corals by summerfield

blue corals

one more underwater shot. these are actually called purple corals because sometimes they look purple, depending on the strength of the light from the sun filtering down the waters. they look blue to me, though.

i still can't get over the fact that i took this picture myself. being under water and seeing these beautiful sea lives, it felt surreal. it's almost like watching a 3-d movie, the camera panning through the sea floor. several times i noticed i forgot that my lungs are already devoid of air because i was so engrossed looking down; i'd get up and quicklly go back down again. most times i also caught myself just looking and not even taking pics. that's how awesome the experience was. i'm so glad i didn't pass the final opportunity to do it.

thank you for your kind views and comments; know that they are truly and sincerely appreciated.
wow great shot :)

That would be absolutely amazing to see close at hand- so I'd be doing the same as you- forgetting to breath and forgetting to shoot! I'm glad you went for it!
