calla lily

a lot of people call this the 'rude' flower and after taking this shot, i could understand why. but i always thought that this is one of the most beautiful flowers - it's simple and elegant. a little pornographic, maybe, but it's all subjective, methinks.

Lovely details. These plants grow wild all around where I live. They come into flower late autumn and early winter and are around until late spring.
