just the back (or bottom) side of a pretty hibiscus flower, taken at the allen gardens.
apparently a lot of people are feeling the melancholy i am supposed to be suffering from. so the doctor ordered me to force myself to look at things that are joyful and exudes 'happy'. a few days back, i saw a post on the discussion page about posting photos of things that make you feel happy and posting them for the whole month of april. so i will try that. seeing that i had started the month with young jeannine's happy portrait and yesterday's wonderful sunset, let's see if i can pull it through to the end of the month.
thank you, ladies and gents, for your visits and comments; i do appreciate them a lot. as i had been prescribed some 'happy' pills - hahaha! - actually they're pills to boost the melatonin, which makes one sleepy, i've tried commenting on some of your postings during my breaks at the office. so please bear with me.
It might be one of the sway days, Vikki! You sway that way then sway back - melancholy to exuberance! Getting good sleeps is vital. Lovely focus in this flower - you can see the veins so clearly!
Hibiscus are such lovely big flowers, it's nice to see the other side of one for a change! Great focus and detail in this shot. Great choice for the happy theme!
OK, I am going to assume that your tag is tongue-in-cheek, but in case it is not try 30doh, or 30-days-of-happy!! :-))) I have such a hard time remembering all these challenges and themes, and the tags that go with them! Beautiful flower, BTW...
Sure do hope seeking out happy shots to photograph lifts your spirits. I can relate- the last few weeks of cold and damp before the Spring really came about were probably the hardest part of the winter.
