wasn't in the mood to do anything so i braved the morning traffic and despite not having driven for two years, i rented a car and drove where i didn't have to turn left which took me to northeast of toronto. i saw so many run-down barns and riding farms, but this one, this one was special. i sooooo wanted to trespass and take a selfie. i wouldn't have cared if people would sneer or laugh at me, but what i cared about is privacy or respect for property. if it says no trespassing, i just won't do it. (last sunday partner wanted us to invade an abandoned property because there was this gorgeous silo that had rusty roof and rusty iron steps and graffiti. my friend @northy would've loved it, i'm pretty positive. and ann @olivetreeann, too! i've posted the photo of that silo here: http://365project.org/summerfield/365-again/2014-07-28)
i had the great idea of at least posing by the cornfields there at the back on the right but it would've meant for me to leave the camera on this side of the road. with the traffic, either it could get knocked down or some cruel soul could grab my gears. and of course, i didn't bring my remote shutter! but i could just picture me in my white dress roaming those grounds. i really really love that frame. one thing's for sure, i will go back there before the winter. and then there's the other problem, i sort of forgot where this was. tee-hee!
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are so much appreciated. also big thank you for faving some of my recent photos; you are all so sweet and i appreciate the generosity. if it's only possible to have a party for you all, i'd have done that!
@cheribug - well, i haven't driven a car in more than two years so i was a tad nervous, my right turns were a little bit wide at first because the make of that toyota car was a little bit stupid. i forgot what model it was, the seat was uncomfortable and i think i might have shrunk a tiny bit because it was quite difficult to reach the gas pedal. :-P hehehehe!
Great barn- full of character! I would probably surprise you. If I am careful and certain I'm not damaging anything, I will sometimes go in for a closer shot- but I'm always very mindful that I'm a "visitor". If the fence is locked or there's no way in though, I'd stay out. This looks like a cool place to explore!
Reading your stories makes me laugh and I swear I hear your voice so clearly I'd probably recognize it blindfolded even though I've never really heard it at all. Wonderful setting here for costume play.
